When does the University of Washington book buy back for high school students start?

It’s getting kind of close to the end of the year now, when will the UW bookstore in Seattle start buying back high school textbooks?

What is a reasonable grade to expect a high-school student to get in a college class?

I’m taking some classes at the local college for some credit, and I’m just wondering what most high-school students get when they’re in the same situation. Honest answers please.

High school senior study abroad scholarships/funds?

I would like to travel in the summer of 2009, preferably to a European/Latin American country, yet unfortunately such travel costs would be too much for me to cover… hence I’m searching for scholarships and possible study abroad financial aid for high school students (senior). I am aware of some of the scholarships for college kids (although mention them too, I’m sure the info will prove to be valuable in the future) and was wondering if collecting funds for a HS student would be possible as well. Unfortunately I cannot travel through my school as it doesn’t offer such travel opportunities but there must be programs out there for this - and affordable ones, per chance? Please help me out, looking for good suggestions and valuable info based on experience. Thanks in advance

Where can I find grants for high school students looking to travel?

I’m in high school and I’m interested in going to China for a while during the summer with this organization called People to People. It’ll cost me about 6,000 to 7,500 dollars. While my parents are contributing to the cost, they won’t be able to pay for the entire trip. I was wondering, are there any organizations or companies that give grants to high school students looking to travel or just high school students in general?

Do High School Students in the US have the choice of which class to take?

Is it their choice to choose the class they’ll be attending first w/in the day, or is it the school administrators who set their schedule?
What I mean is, do these students choose their schedule for the school year, like which class they’d prefer to take first in a day, or is it the school that decides for their schedule?

Are there any college scholarships available for kids who aren’t super smart or athletic?

I have a 3.8gpa but I take all regular classes and I do not play any sports. I am a good kid and am never in any kind of trouble. Do you know if there are any scholarships available for high school students like me? I also am considering studying Nursing when i do go to college.
Thank You
