I will be a sophomore in high school next year and I would like to get a head start on Algebra 2 so I can get straight A’s. Can someone recommend some computer programs or books that can give me a head start on the rest of my classmates next year? Software is preferred, but if you know about some really helpful books, go ahead and include them.

“Strawberry shortcake, huckleberry pie / I’m going to punch you right in the eye.” I remember having this read to me and some of my classmates at school but I can’t remember the title. I remember that the characters were animals and it takes place on a farm and involves some sort of traffic accident (I think). I remember we were laughing hysterically at the story.

How can I help improve my community college?

I recently became a Student Senator at my local community college. As part of the senator requirement, I must take part in a “Senator Project,” in which the board member organizes or plays a role in an activity that improves the school. For example, one of the groups has tried to enforce a “25 foot from the building rule” for smokers, or tried to setup other alternatives for our smoking classmates. Other students used funding to buy sports equipment such as wiffleballs and flag football in the yard that students could rent out with their school ID.
9 CommentsDoes anyone have a general idea that I can try to work on for my school? I’m not asking it specifically for my college because I feel that all schools share some of the same essential problems.

When is it safe to go back to school after having tonsilitous?

I have tonsillitous and have had it for about 3 days. I have been taking antibiotics and the swelling is going down. There is still some pain but not as much. I want to know if it is safe to go back to school without infecting my classmates.
