What is the name of the children’s book that includes the following couplet?

“Strawberry shortcake, huckleberry pie / I’m going to punch you right in the eye.” I remember having this read to me and some of my classmates at school but I can’t remember the title. I remember that the characters were animals and it takes place on a farm and involves some sort of traffic accident (I think). I remember we were laughing hysterically at the story.

I’m a junior in high school, starting to think abour college. I’m thinking of joining the Air Force/ AFROTC?

I want to go to college, but I also want to join the Air Force. I’ve been thinking about taking ROTC wherever I go to college. I just don’t know what my parents are going to think or how to even tell them. Any ideas/ experiences?

wants in a phone: camera - 3.2mp or more, long battery life, slim and not bulky in size, nice looking

Im in 9th grade and taking spanish 2 for the foreign language that is required to graduate and i chose spanish since its easier…lol
3 Commentswell after we learned preterite tense my grades just have gone down hill….
last year in 8th grade i took spanish 1 which was considered pre ap since you really didnt have to take it in 8th grade… (like its a high school course not middle school)
but i wanted to get it out of the way..
so anyway
i have an 82 right now and i havent gotten that low of a grade in that class before even last year in spanish 1…
is this an ok grade?

but really….it is hard to remember all the freaking irregulars and crap
nope im finished with spanish after this year

What to tell high schoolers on the first day of high school?

Well at this high school i’m going to be going to, people pretty much can tell how you’re going to be for the rest of the year.If you act all goody goody, they’ll think you’re weak, they also will if they say something to you and you don’t respond well.Should I just tell them to shut the hell up if they are rude to me?

We are not any more inbred than any other state. We are poor, we are white and black, and we are definitely not stupid.
It’s time the United States recognizes WV as a state full of hard working, underpriveleged Americans. Try visiting here before you judge us. West Virginia is beautiful, and our citizens are tired of being stereotyped.

Best way to gain weight fast for football?

I am in 13 year old in 8th grade and will be going to a high school next year that is known for having a powerhouse football program that wins a lot, despite being a school in the North. I convinced my parents to let me try out for the Freshmen team, but I have a problem. My parents never let me play Pop Warner for whatever reason, and so I have little experience. Several years ago I played flag football and I often play catch and throw at targets. My problem is camp starts in a little bit about 110 days, and I am light for my age and need to put on weight. Based on my skills I will probably play QB or WR on offense, and linebacker or safety on defense. However, I really need to know how to put on weight fast. I feel like adding 20 pounds would be good. I recently started lifting weights and running a lot so I have room to gain weight from muscle. What would be a good amount of time to workout daily and a good amount to eat to put on 20 pounds in 110 days?

My high school friends don’t want to talk to me anymore?

I saw a lot of “friends” from high school today at a band concert (we used to all be in marching band together). We hadn’t seen each other in a year or so. I was really happy to see them, but only about 2 of them seemed happy to see me. One of my other friends just looked at me blankly and went to talk to another person. I was really hurt…is it normal for high school friends to drift apart after they graduate?
